Manley's 'enhanced' Pultec EQs deliver the same sweet sound and control as the vintage original, but with modern circuitry that sets new standards in today's contemporary recording facilities.
The Manley Pultec EQP-1A, now available in both single and 2-channel versions, uses 1 x 12AU7WA and 1 x 6414 in our ALL-TUBE single-ended line amplifier for the gain make-up and extra-beefy sound; the Pultec EQP-1A's gain is factory set for unity but additional gain is available by a rear mounted feedback adjustment trimpot. Like our 40dB Mic Preamps, the Manley Pultec EQP-1As offer both transformer coupled balanced and direct capacitor coupled unbalanced outputs for easy interface and sonic variety.
The Manley Enhanced Pultec EQ features a versatile design which allows audio professionals to quickly and easily tweak their sound for the perfect finish. The Enhanced Pultec EQ is the mono variant of the Pultec EQ, taking up one rack unit in your studio rack space. A stereo version of the Pultec EQ is also available, taking up two rack units, ideal for use in larger rack spaces or dual channel recording scenarios.
The Manley Enhanced Pultec EQ features boost and cut controls which are all continuously variable conductive plastic potentiometers to allow for silent operation whilst maintaining durable build quality using high quality materials. The rack mountable design also allows for easy installation and use within any studio rack space, making the Manley Enhanced Pultec EQ the ideal equalisation tool to deliver the perfect audio that you require.

Operating mains voltage: Units are purpose built for original destination country's mains voltage: 100V, 120V, or 220-240VAC as indicated on the serial number badge. Power transformer must be replaced in order to change mains operating voltage. 120VAC units may NOT be rewired to put the primaries of the power transformer in series for 220-240V operation or a large radiated field of hum will develop. If changing locations/voltages, the power transformer must be replaced with the dedicated one for the voltage at which it will operate.
Mains Voltage Frequency: 50~ 60Hz
