The Pultec EQP-1S is a vintage variation of the EQP-1A model, featuring the same passive-tube design but with a different frequency curve on both low and high-end of the spectrum. Nonetheless the EQP-1S delivers the same iconic same as its better known counterpart, the Pultec EQP-1A.
The Pultec EQP-1S varies from the better-known EQP-1A with different low-frequency curves, additional HF Boost frequencies and shelf boost modes. The Low frequency shelf curves feature different frequency points with a choice between 30Hz, 40Hz, 70Hz and 100Hz. High frequencies are also modified featuring additional frequencies (1kHz, 2kHz, 3kHZ and 6kHz) as well as the inclusion of two-shelf boost at 5kHz and 10kHz.
