The TK Audio TK-lizer is a Baxandall type of EQ, high and low bands are selectable between shelving or peak, very useful for tuning of your lows, mids and highs. The EQ also has a built-in M/S function which let you process the mid and side signals separately. You can also affect the stereo width of your music by using the level controls in M/S mode.
This equalizer is based on the legendary Peter Baxandall circuits from the 50’s! Besides that the TK-lizer uses the brilliant design of M/S encoding and decoding from KA Elctronics that is really really good and it’s lovely that we can use the High Pass Filter in M/S to mono out low frequency content in both channels and make fine adjustments regarding the stereo width. This Equalizer is clean and transparent enough and the stepped switches with half/one dB steps is gorgeous to “ToneShaping” a mix, also very fast to recall. The mid band is just great. It makes everything seem more focused and it’s difficult to sound bad even with maximum increment.
