The Lexicon 960L multichannel digital effects system is the long-awaited successor to the flagship of Lexicon's line, the highly sought-after 480L model. The 960L features extensive surround sound capabilities, up to 96kHz sample rate, a new remote head with flying faders, digital I/O, and increased processing power.
The 960L Stereo is a stereo version of Lexicon's flagship multi-channel digital effects system. The 960LS is similar to the 960L without the multi-channel processing and AES/EBU digital I/O. But, Multi-Channel Processing software and AES/EBU digital I/O cards are available as separate options. The unit supports the Automation option, and when Multi-Channel Processing is enabled, the LOGIC7 UpMix option.
The included LARC2 remote controller is the user interface for the 960L and has been totally redesigned and enhanced. Fashioned after the original LARC, the new LARC2 provides a simple and intuitive user interface with a large, easy-to-read color backlit LCD display, eight touch-sensitive motorized faders, a two-axis joystick for surround sound panning/placement control, eight soft and twenty-nine dedicated function keys.
